Kids love to roll and throw dice. Engage them in learning healthy coping skills and labeling emotions while they play.
Purchase one or more soft/plush pocket dice (These can be purchased off a variety of consumer websites. Search “pocket dice.” The inserts are small enough for 3in x3in sided dice or larger.)
There are emotion cards and healthy coping skills cards that are colored blue and orange. All of them can be used for children ages 3+. The orange circles are specifically designed for children ages 9 months to 2 years old. Place emotions on one die and skills on another or take turns switching between the two if you only have one.
Game and printing instructions are on download below.
Important Safety Warning: Young children will try to take the pieces out of the dice pockets, so it is important that dice are not given to children under 3 and left alone. If cards are laminated, they will not get ruined as easily.
